How can Saga add to my bottom line?
With Saga Technologies, your organization can leverage our team’s
expertise and experience without the high cost of maintaining
a comparable IT staff. And that is just in the development phase.
Once your application is developed, the efficiency gains that
you will achieve by web-enabling applications, workflow and
processes will continue to add to your bottom line in terms
of resource/time savings and productivity increases. Additionally,
by outsourcing development to Saga’s team of professionals,
you stand a better chance of being first to market with innovative
products, services or tools, which can give you the competitive
edge in your industry.
How can I be assured that the
final product will be of high quality and dependability?
In addition to a track record of successful projects and satisfied
customers that speaks for itself, there are several assurance
measures built into our development process. Once our developers
complete a project, we thoroughly test preliminary versions
of the software installed at your location. Once the approved
version is deployed, any bugs or problems that arise within
our warranty period will be resolved free of charge.
How can I prevent my project
from exceeding my budget?
There is little danger of unforeseen pitfalls when you work
with us. Our associates gather all requirements and needs prior
to presenting your proposal, and they will also utilize their
experience in the field to accommodate and prepare for factors
that may affect pricing. The only surprises you will get from
Saga Technologies are pleasant ones!
How can I monitor your ongoing
progress to make sure you are keeping to schedule and budget?
Our development process is completely transparent to you and
your internal team. Through password-protected online project
management tools, you have the ability to monitor every phase
of development. This is in addition to ongoing status reports
and the presentation of pre-determined project milestones and
deliverables for each part of your project.
What are some typical project
deliverables?
The deliverables vary by project, and are agreed-upon before
we commence any project. However, some common deliverables may
include: software modules, testing documentation, user's guide,
training manual, documented source code and maintenance instructions.
Can I be assured of IP protection?
We guarantee the utmost in confidentiality and security in every
project, no matter how large or small. In addition to adhering
to our standard Non-Disclosure Agreement, project staff members
only have access to the proprietary information of clients to
which they are assigned. To ensure maximum accountability, all
copies or editions of client data are recorded by logs. On the
facility level, our development centers enforce strict guidelines
that prohibit the introduction or removal of digital or other
electronic storage devices. We recognize that your IP is your
livelihood, so we insist on going the extra mile to protect
it.
What is your testing procedure?
“Test, test, test” is our mantra. Literally. To
ensure minimal problems and optimal deployment, we usually perform
testing at three different stages. We perform plan testing at
system analysis phase, unit testing at the coding phase and
integration testing after project completion.
Can you work on just one part
of a project, or take over an unfinished project?
We can take on any part of a project at any stage of completion.
In fact, many companies turn to outsourcing when a project does
not proceed as planned, or includes elements that are outside
of the knowledge scope of the in-house team. We can work with
your existing team to see a project through, or we can work
independently on any or all parts. It all depends on what you
need.
Do you provide dedicated developers
to work on projects?
Yes, we can certainly accommodate your needs if you prefer to
have dedicated individuals working on-site. This type of arrangement
is appropriate for large complex projects that require a software
developer to fully understand your business methods and systems.
Or, if you have security and intellectual property concerns
that would necessitate the use of on-site project teams, a team
of pre-screened developers, pre-screened and interviewed by
you, would provide an extra layer assurance. Of course, if your
dedicated developer encounters a problem outside his scope of
knowledge, he has access to Saga Technologies’ collective
knowledge and expertise to find a solution.
What are the advantages of
being a Microsoft-Certified Partner?
Because Saga Technologies is a Microsoft Certified Partner,
each of our consultants has access to the technical and educational
resources needed to develop best-in-breed solutions for your
organization. Saga Technologies possesses world-class expertise
in the architecture, design, implementation and troubleshooting
of Microsoft-based information technology. Our Microsoft-certified
experts offer consulting and development expertise in Active
Directory, Exchange Server 2003, Microsoft .NET and Great Plains
Software application development.
Can I “try before I
buy?”
We understand that you have a lot riding on an enterprise-level
contract. That is why we are willing to qualify our services
by taking on a pilot project prior to any large-scale endeavor.
Depending on the scope of the pilot project, we will do it with
payment upon successful completion only or even free of charge.
How can I be assured that
I will receive updates and/or upgrades to my application?
We usually include updates and upgrades for a few months after
the completion of a project. However, if keeping up with the
latest available versions of tools, software and services is
a priority for you, we can draft either a long-term maintenance
agreement that extends the upgrade/update period indefinitely,
or a general agreement on providing modifications on a case
by case basis.
